One for the ladies, 2010-03-13
Central plot character Mr Hamm is worth watching even if you are not sure what his plot is with his liaisons. Great direction and visual, clever thinking ... it's a man's world in this era of advertising but they need the ladies for many reasons including promoting; excellent price from Amazon.

Wonderful Drama, 2010-02-26
This series is one of the most enthralling pieces of drama I have ever seen.It is compulsive viewing on account of its wonderfully intriguing plots, great and varied characterisation and subtle implications.It never ceases to surprise and is well worth every penny spent on it!

Just love it, 2010-03-09

Very little to say other than I just love it - limiting myself to two episodes or so at a time to prolong until Season 3 comes out (how sad!). I know Season 3 is currently on TV but it seems to jump from station to station with no fixed time. To my mind, the acting is superb - totally recommended - a 'get away from it all' experience!

I missed this series when it was first shown, It is very good indeed and well worth the praise it has had . The attention to period detail is so good and is yet another high class American drama series ( aka, The west wing , House , original CSI etc.etc). Did people really smoke as much as that ! how times change . This boxed set is very good value.

Highly recommended for the production values, acting from the stars in particular Jon Hamm as Don Draper and the visual styling.
