Amazon.co.uk Review The latest outing from former Destiny's Child starlet Beyonce is an intentionally schizophrenic affair. Splitting herself into two separate characters--herself and alter ego Sasha Fierce--is the artist's way of presenting what she obviously sees as an artistic duality. The first set, I Am... is intended give a glimpse beneath the surface of her usual R&B-pop persona. Featuring recent single "If I Was a Boy," the soaring "Halo", and ballads like "Disappear", and "Ave Maria", it seems her "real" self is way more saccharine than the lady that brought us sassy pop moments like "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy". That side of her personality comes rushing back out on Sasha Fierce, a more rousing collection that kicks off with the infectious handclaps of "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", ventures into Euro-dance territory with "Radio" and gets surprisingly risque with the voyeuristic "Video Phone". Which part of the album you enjoy most will depend on your musical proclivities, But the new, bifurcated Beyonce ensures there's enough diversity to satisfy the most demanding pop aficionado. --Danny McKenna

terrible, 2010-03-12 how do you send this back?
it was sent to me broken in pieces
the CD wasn't even held in properly
Beyonce I am...Sasha Fierce Platinum Edition, 2010-02-18 Excellent album and well worth the money, packed with hit after hit and there's only one or two songs that I'm not so keen on unlike other albums I've bought, this is ideal for all Beyonce fans as it also includes a dvd which contains 8 of her videos and behind the scenes footage.
Good girl gone bad, 2010-02-24 I am a big Beyonce fan, I have previously brought all her albums and most of destiny's childs as well. I waited a longer time than usual to buy this as I hate the way she always repackages her album many times after its been released. After listening to the album I was left thinking it was a compliation CD as the whole thing felt uncohesive. Yes the title of the album plays on the 2 sides of B but this just felt like any which side. Her previous B'Day was is one of my faves, every single song I loved and they all sounded like they should be on the same album but on this there is only 3 or 4 I love; single ladies, diva, halo and sweet dreams. This album is such a letdown it might just be better to buy the singles.
Brillian Album, 2010-02-23 Absolutely worth the money i paid for it! And i'd even pay shop price for it!
