Great Set!, 2010-03-03 I loved the original movies and the DVDs. I just had to add this to my Blue Ray collection. The quality is great. The price was right. The extras are nice.
Stunning Blu Ray Quality, 2010-03-03 I was quite surprised at how impressive the quality of this Blu Ray film set was considering the age of the original film. Closeups (facial features etc.) were stunning and far surpassed any of the DVDs I have seen of this same film. It appears to have been remastered with original digital footage.
Matrix Trilogy on Blu-ray, 2010-03-03 Excellent deal. After upgrading to a blu-ray player this series was one of the first I had to have. The action sequences are crystal clear and the sound is superb. Definitely recommend.
Great quality Blu-ray, 2010-03-12 The Matrix had always been one of my favourite sci-fi movies of the past 10 years and I bought it on DVD some time ago, but never got round to watching or buying Reloaded or Revolutions. So when I decided to finally switch to Blu-ray this trilogy was one of my first choices, and I am not disappointed.
The films themselves have been reviewed ad nauseam so I guess I'll make my comments pretty general. The Matrix looks and sounds fantastic on Blu-ray and really showcases my new system. Having watched the two sequels now for the first time I have to say that I tend to disagree with most in that I feel Matrix Reloaded is probably the weakest of the three and that I really liked Matrix Revolutions. Once again, the look and sound of both films is superb. There are hours and hours and hours of extras that I haven't even dipped into yet (where do I find the time?) but the whole package represents fabulous value for money.
A great film box set to buy in HD, 2010-03-12 There are some films, which due to special effects and cinematics, really benefit from being in HD, and the Matrix trilogy is no exception. The sound quality and visuals really make this box set an enjoyable experience, especially considering the price
