Product Description
Stronghold 2 is the third installment of the Stronghold franchise. The original Stronghold was the first and only game to combine a castle SIM with siege-warfare RTS. Stronghold 2 will be the first to bring the franchise to 3D. Players will be able to build and develop numerous types of castles and defenses while watching their peasants go about their every day lives. Players will see medieval life in all its forms from festivals and jousts to drunken wenches serving their lord dinner. Players will also be given more control over the strategic aspect of the game.

Brought this game and did not have high expectations as so cheap, but my boys 8 and 6 years love it, and I have to admit I do to. Very addictive, the three of us sit there and play together building and maintaining communities, the boys really enjoy the battles but I enjoy the peacetime game play more. Graphics really good and very simple to use, and really gets you thinking.

After owning and thoroughly enjoying the Original game and the Crusader edition of the original, I couldn't wait to get this game onto my computer. I am just sorry I wasted my time. The playability and enjoyment levels on this game are non-existent.
Stick with the original versions of this game, Stronghold 2 is just abysmal.

I can't get enough. What a great game. I was a fan of the original stronghold and am pleased that very few things have changed in this sequel. The archers even have the same regional accents. The only major differences are the 3D graphics, "estates" adding an extra dimension to gameplay and castles have rats. If you enjoyed Stronghold 1 you'll love this. If you enjoyed Settlers you've been missing out on the joy of seige warfare. If you like burning peasants this is heaven. And you don't need a top spec PC to play.
