 Caution before you buy this TV, 2010-01-05
A word of warning. This TV does NOT have VESA mounting points on the rear. A custom made Samsung mount, Part WMB1900T is available in the US. Regardless of what you may read anywhere this part is NOT available in the UK. If it is advertised it is 'Out of Stock'. Wreckless Internet Stores advertise 'Alternatives' that all strangely have VESA mounting. If you want this TV to mount on the wall, locate the Bracket first (Good Luck) or you WILL be disappointed. Shame on Samsung for this design flaw. Shame on the 'Bracket' shops who sell alternatives with misleading BS descriptions.
Very good, but one drawback, 2009-12-24
This TV Monitor is really worth it's money, it's a beautiful piece of kit, and works for many uses. If you want a great HD TV for Channels, Consoles (in my case an Xbox 360) or a Computer Monitor, this is the one for you. For what you get, the price is really worth it, I looked at other models of monitor like this, such as LG and Phillips makes, but i'm glad chose this one.
Some people have said that the TV downscales high definition because it doesn't have full 1080 resolution, but the quality is so good it would be impossible to notice if you didn't have a full HD TV sitting next to it.
My only problem I have with this monitor is that as some people have said in other reviews, there is a faint whistle that comes from the bottom left speaker. It's not noticable when watching something above say the 10 volume level, but at night, when trying to watch TV quietly, it can be very bothersome. All the same though, the other features shadow this negative, so I am still very happy with the purchase.
In short, if you don't watch TV quietly, and need a great HD Monitor TV, this is the one for you =)

Bought this as to use as a second TV, wish I hadn't bothered. Sound Quality poor. Developed a fault such that you could not operate the TV with the remote and could only be switched off with the red button on the remote. If you the switch it back on it would start working again for a period of time, until, soon after it would freeze again.
The set had to be sent away to samsungs "repairers", supposed to be five days, took two weeks and when it was sent back, the neck of the stand, which I could not remove before sending as it was too tight, was not returned with TV, had to wait another week for part to arrive.
Joy of joy's assembled it today and after a short period the same fault as before it went away three weeks ago !!!!!
I have now arranged refund from Amazon and will never purchase another Samsung product again as their customer service is non-exsistent!!
Great Value for Money, 2010-01-12
I ordered my new samsung T220hd expecting it to take at least a week, but 3 days later it arrived. It was very easy to set up and the quality is brilliant. Im very glad with everything to do with this order and would not hesitate to order again.
Samsung T220HD TFT, 2009-12-31
I am really pleased with this TV. The picture quality and sound is excellent, and the remote control easy to use. AV connections are numerous, could be used as a main TV or as part of an entertainment system.
The only criticism would be the gloss finish showing every fingerprint. The TFT cannot take a VESA mount and the stand does not easily slot in place, but its only done once and its secure enough.
I did want it to double up as a second screen for my main computer but enjoy it as a TV, perhaps I should buy another.
Good product, no hesitation in recommending it.
