Does the job fine, 2008-06-21
I use Norton 2008 and it does the job fine. Old versions of Norton had a reputation for being a bit slow but 2008 seems pretty good - and faster than my old AVG. I haven't used Ghost so can't comment on that part.

Norton is one of the worst viurs protection software, and its has a subscription charge.
Look in to Avast, one of the best virus scanners

And Acronis True Image, instead of Norton Ghost.

I've actually owned a lot of Norton stuff, and my god do they slow down your computer to a snails pace.
It gets in everywhere and screws everything up.
If you want a decent Internet Security package, check out Kaspersky, you can download it from their site - much much better.
Norton is rubbish.
