The main seller IJT Direct, as listed by Amazon, are conning buyers by sending out different Kingston flash drives as shown in the picture. Yes they are Kingston and yes they are 8GB, but what you get is the CAPLESS version in a different colour. Other buyers have noted this and I too received the same treatment.
I sent the item back and was promised the one shown in the picture, but I was then mysteriously and all of a sudden given a refund (minus postage of course!)
What a con! Come on Amazon sort this out!
As for anyone contemplating buying this, the item itself is very good. But don't buy it from Amazon as you won't receive the item you think you are going to get.

Hi Guys,
I ordered the flash drive which I liked from the picture, but i have received a different Kingston flash drive.
I would send it back but if they will minus the delivery charges, I will be getting back like £10, rather keep it now. But it is a bit of a con, the flash drive in the pikcture looks smart and heavy duty, but the one I have received looks cheap and tacky...
Please do not buy from these guys, they are miss selling, and amazon really need to sort them out as they are getting away with it, as other customers have had the same experience as myself....

I have bought a few flash drives and have had no problem with any of the makes. I stick with Kingston generally as they seem good value for money and well made.
I havent a clue with speeds and rates and all the other anorak speak I'm afraid - I put them on the computer, the computer finds them, I transfer files, it seems quick.
The reason for three stars and not five is the lack of description for this particular model. All the others I have bought have had a cap you take off and there is the USB plug, this one has a slide mechanism which pushes the USB out when you need it - just one more thing to go wrong when the mechanism snaps and the USB doesnt come out!.
Compact but holds loads, 2010-08-14
I bought a couple of these for work, as they seemed very well priced. I am really happy with them, they seem to hold loads of images, or info that I need to keep or transfer from computer to computer. I would highly recommend this item.
