Comment: I bought this set for my wife who is possibly the biggest pink fan in the world. I didn't even realise they made something like this so I jumped at the chance.

I was a bit wary given the low price of only £20 but the fact they're made by Saitek, who make a lot of high-end gaming peripherals, gave me some confidence, along with loads of positive reviews on the American Amazon site.

The quality and finish are very good. The keys have a nice quiet light response and the layout is comfortable. You get all the usual multimedia hotkeys along the top too. The mouse is actually sold separately as a notebook mouse so be warned that it's pretty small. Ideal for small hands but not for everyone. Still, it's nice and light, comfortable and has a decent 800DPI optical resolution and a scroll wheel. It has a permanent white glow coming from its transparent body, and the whole thing glows pink when it is moved. Very nice touch!

Both devices have USB connectors and no PS2 adaptors are supplied so please be aware of the 2 USB port requirement. No driver disc is supplied because both devices are just plug-and-play. They work fine on Linux too, including the hotkeys.

So you get a lot for your money and it's well made and nice to use.

Warning for geeks - I've discovered that this keyboard isn't recognised in the BIOS, even with USB legacy support enabled, so you won't be able to access your BIOS with this keyboard, even if you use a PS/2 adapter. This seems to be a common problem with some newer USB keyboards, particularly Saitek ones. This isn't a problem unless you're tweaking the BIOS regularly - just use a different keyboard when you need the BIOS. Not worth knocking a star off for...
