'The' cable to use for HD sources!, 2008-09-19
What can I say about such an impressive (and affordable) product - from a British company as well (bonus!)
It was bought to use alongside a Denon Up-Scaling DVD player I got for Xmas and a Sony S-Series LCD I bought for myself and...wow, what an improvement from CRT TVs and £29.99 supermarket players!!
Seriously, I think that you wouldnt (and shouldnt) spend anymore than £25 for 3m of cable unless your a tecnophile who wont accept anything less than handmade USA/UK products - cos, as well all know, Chinese/Japanese made elctronics are still some of the most sensibly prices and specced products in the market today!!
To sum up, this is a bargain in every sense - quality and build quality than belies its price and, especially, British design!
Great Product Does What its Supposed To Do!, 2009-01-06
I decided to buy this product as the shorter versions of the same HDMI cable had received 5 stars. I already own an HDMI cable that I bought from ebay and most people will say that there is no difference between a cheap cable that costs £10 and a more expensive one. However I own a PS3 and couldn't view the menu at 1080p but could watch blue rays but sometimes there was a slight whole picture wobble or a line appear and was worried that it could be a handshake problem between the tv and the ps3. However I plugged in the new lead and selected 1080p and straight away no problem. One better part to this cable is that the actual piece that goes into the tv or your HD device is quite long so it fits securely in other leads can have excessive plastic that stops a good connection which what I think was the matter with my original cable. Also being 3 meters long it allows you to cable tie the cable to your bracket if like me I have a cantilever system and I can now have all the cables from the tv tucked neatly away out of sight with the extra length. If you don't want to pay the earth but still want a good connection on what could be a £1000 tv then I would certainly recommend it.
