Comment: I purchased the Siemens Gigaset C475 two weeks ago since my old cordless system was on the verge of collapse. Delivery was next day, at no extra charge - top marks for the seller. To be honest the phone has more facilities that I am likely to use, but I wanted the quality, and got it without paying exorbitant prices. The set up is very simple, and similar to a mobile phone, but without all the hassle. The clarity of the voice calls is superb, and the adjustable volume control very easy to set. To test out the battery life I left it off the rechaging stand. Four days and two hours later, after making several calls, and playing around setting up my quick call numbers, it needed recharging.
It looks good, works well, and was very reasonably priced. What more could you ask for.
