I had this item delivered and returned it immediately - you need a PS2 keyboard and mouse.

Look at the customer image for this, as Amazon's image is for the PS2 model. The leads are USB, but the inlets are only PS2. In that respect it is NOT a USB KVM switch, and I'm taking this up with Amazon. It's not suitable for the purpose intended.
