I have bought this item and found it to be exactly as advertised. The strap is large enough to go around my large rigid suitcase (which has a circumferance of 170cm) and the combination is easy to change. The constricter keeps the strap tight when the lock is engaged with what looks like a metal brake - I gave it a good pull and it didn't budge so I'm pleased with that - and to loosen it you just need to unlock and unclasp the buckle. I have yet to road test it fully (flying to America this weekend) but the visual quality assures me it is up to the job.
