I have this on a amd x2 5200+ with a 120mm fan on the back of the case. Even when my pc is under load the heatsink temperture doesnt rise very much. It is rather large so make sure your case is big enough

I read a review of this item which praised it highly. I went ahead and purchased and sure enough it's been excellent. My CPU temperatures are lower than the stock cooler of course and best of all its totally silent. The size makes it slightly unwieldly to fit but it hasn't really created any problems other than one of the power connectors being a little difficult but not impossible to reach. Thoroughly recommended.
