I cannot speak highly enough of this all in one printer. This is the first Brother I have bought and all I can say is that it knocks spots off all the other printers I have bought over the years. Once you have replaced the installed ink cartridges you will find it very economical on ink. It is both quiet and reliable. I have never written a review about any product before, but felt I just had to write one about The Brother DCP-350C All In One Printer!
Difficult to fault, 2008-05-03
I reiterate what the earlier reviewer has said. It always seems to be difficult choosing a printer from the many available, and reviews always seem so variable. However, I can say that for me this is the best printer I've owned. Previously I've always had Lexmark printers, but this is far superior in terms of build quality, features and performance, and all at a great price. Can't fault it. Install was easy too. Very happy.
Surprisingly good, 2008-11-17
I recently bought this printer after reading other people's reviews on it.
I am delighted. The machine is very attractive (white and silver), easy to set up, performs very well indeed. I have tested it as a colour printer, photo printer and scanner.
It has an intelligent compact design and is surprisingly good for the price.
 Amazing price but Ink Cartridges all need to be present to use!!, 2008-12-17
I will agree with all other reviews on this item:
Its simple to use and install (esp with XP)
Software is pretty powerful and can be easily optimised depending on what your needs are.
Good Price etc etc
BUT it has a major flaw - You can not use the printer if you have run out of one particular ink (Cyan in my case).
I needed to print off a simple plain, text document (Black and White) but i was presented with a 'you must replace ink cartridge before proceeding'.
While im waiting for a replacement set im pretty stuck and cant use the printing function at all (nor the copier function either....i havent yet tried the fax).
This is a bit of a oversight and in my opinion pretty rubbish there is no black/white option - if there is, i havent seen or found it anywhere.
So i suppose the most useful thing i can recommend to anyone purchasing this printer is buy a spare set of inks - otherwise you may find yourself giving this product 3 stars or less too!!!
Very Good Product, 2008-10-10
I purchased this item a week ago and I'm delighted. Firstly - having ordered it at 2.30pm on the Thursday I was astonished to receive delivery of it at 9.00am the following day. I had to go out and buy a 2.0 USB lead before I could install it (mildly irritating) but installation was very easy and stress-free (with Windows XP). Printing, Photocopying and Scanning are all very straightforward and I'm very impressed with my purchase so far. I would certainly recommend buying one of these.
