OK for Christmas but I dont think the average child would be playing with it for long but their Dad will be chasing the cat around the house for weeks.
Not sure I would describe it as Educational.
Children are far more critical...."But it wont climb up the wall will it Dad ?"

The legs dont provide the locomotion as I expected but they do shake around.

Dont forget the transmitter 9v battery as well as the 4 x AA batteries.

Totally unrealistic in terms of size, colour, movement - it just trundles along. We suprised my mother-in-law with it - getting it to emerge from under the kitchen table. She just laughed and she's terrified of spiders.
