Great Fun, 2009-01-02 My nine year old got this for Christmas. It's fantastic and really robust.Once you get the hang of the remote it flies really well inside. Have not taken it outside yet. We have crashed it many times and each time it looks broken but you pick it up and off you go again. The rotors fold on impact and then set themselves right once more when you fly again. We did lose the tail fin thing but a small piece of sellotape has fixed that. We did buy our son a big copter for a lot more money but each time it had a bad crash you needed to replace rotors at extra cost. This is so much more fun, quieter, mobile and easy to use. Go get one!
A nice suprise, 2007-12-26 First of all I will just say ignore my rating of the educational value but these things have to be filled in, it depends on the individual how educational it is, how am I supposed to know that?.
Anyway I got this as a suprise Christmas gift and agree with everything that J. A. Cunningham has said. This is so much fun, it does take a bit of practice but I have never had anything like this before so more experienced RC pilots shouldn't have much trouble controlling this. I have been crashing it a lot and everytime I keep thinking I might have broken it but everytime I check it's been fine. Another thing I love about this is that it is much more quiet than I thought so its great to have fun with indoors too. I would say be careful with it indoors but I don't want to sound patronising.
If you have been thinking of getting one of these then I don't think many will be disappointed with this, so I would definitely recommend it. I can't really say if experienced RC pilots will be impressed but certainly beginners like me who have never had anything like this before should love this.
Nano Copter, 2007-11-08 Excellent once you master the remote control. It only takes a very small movement of the control stick to move the helicopter.Great fun and last's a lot longer than i thought it would on one charge.
Great Fun!, 2007-12-28 Simply a must for any beginner - great fun, inexpensive and pretty durable - at only 10g collisions are not a drama!
