Great sounds...nice price too., 2008-10-21 A great set of headphones for a cracking price,i've a larger than normal head(no John Merrick jokes)and I find using them for long periods a pleasure.Nice and light, they dont press your ears into your skull, which is always nice....
It comes with a good length of cord too,so no faces pressed up against the monitor moments to worry about, and it has a USB dongle you can use to plug into your computer for ease of use on the connection side.
Highly recommended by this humble user.
Good sound and mic, very sore ears!!, 2007-12-18 I dont know how these can be described as a gaming headset, most people that I know who game, do so for long periods of time, i.e. 2 or 3 hours at a time, personally I cant wear these for more than 1 hour without my ears becomming very sore, all the weight hangs on your ears, with no other support, I will be complaining to Logitech about these but wont hold my breath for any feedback, very dissapointed :(
The definitive choice for the gamer with style., 2008-08-13 Logitech seem to be able to produce quality producs at a range of prices time and time again. This headset is possibly the best I have ever worn. Comfy, light, and sounds superb! And with 10 ft of cable your given a degree of freedom that other headsets simply dont give... and no more sweaty itchy ears!
And It looks good doing it too!
This really is a clever bit of kit, and for the price its a simple no brainer, grab one!
Headache and sore ears, or G.H.D. ?, 2007-10-31 This headset should mainly appeal to gamers with carefully crafted hairstyles or long hair. The band that usually goes over the top of your head actually goes behind your neck and it is non-adjustable. Unless you have hair tied back in a bunch, the band doesn't even make contact. Instead, it helps to mildly clamp the cans to the side of your head. The normal contact point where weight is distributed in a heavy set of headphones is across the top of the head with good reason. In this pair, the band gradually slips down my neck and the tips of my ears then take the majority of the weight. It's a one-size-fits-all approach and clearly my head does not conform to Logitech's vision of perfect proportion. This is one of those designs that forgets about ergonomics altogether and opts instead for something that looks 'cool' on the drawing board. A case of style over substance. In fact, if you want a behind-the-neck style of headset, there are plenty of much lighter weight ones out there. This one has a lot of plastic in it that serves little purpose other than to make you look like a cyborg.
These may work for Dr Spock, 2008-08-20 I felt compelled to review this headset as i found it utterly useless.
The Good:
The sound quality is reasonable when you manage to get the headset to stay on.
The Bad:
The design is the worst thing about this headset. As other reviewers have mentioned, the band that normally sits on your head, actually sits behind your head. It is not a snug fit, and often slips down, so whilst gaming etc you end up lowering your head to balance the thing so it doesnt fall off. As this happens the weight of the headset begins to rest on the top of your ears, and becomes quite uncomfortable.
The mic is not flexible in any way, and sits quite far away from your mouth.
All in all, this headset is uncomfortable, ugly and annoying. Save your money and look else where!
