 Disappointing, 2010-03-08
My one year-old daughter does not seem very excited about this one. She rather prefers softer, brigther (and cheaper) teething toys.

I purchased Sophie when my son was 2 months old as the write ups about it had all been good. He loves her and although she resembles a dogs squeaky toy (espcially when he has her sideways in his mouth) she is a brilliant teething toy. Most of the rings i had brought were only good for the front of his mouth whereas with Sophie the legs go all the way back to the side/back gums and he can grip hold of her very easily. I was not 100% sure when buying her as she seemed quite expensive but i now have to say she was worth it. I have also purchased the other toys in the collection.

This toy was recommended by a friend & my baby boy loves it. Mostly likes chewing the giraffe'e ear's & he's teething!!!

its true what they say...this squeaky giraffe is a real baby pleaser. i have spent a fortune on various other baby teethers, but this giraffe is still what my 5 month old reaches for first. not just to bite but to hold and study too. it is well worth the money and im glad i bought this....even though everyone thinks im mad for the price tag. but the pleasure my baby gets from this makes it worth while...and have spent way more on the other useless ones. should have bought this first!
The best teether around, 2010-02-23
When my now 23 yr old son was a baby he teethed on a cheap wee rubber giraffe that we took everywhere with him.....when looking for something similar for my 4 month old Granddaughter I came across Sophie....it's fab and she loves it....it's maybe not cheap but it's worth every penny....it's perfect for little hands to hold....they'll love chewing on Sophie's legs and head....I highly recommend this for your baby
