WWE Championship Match
John Cena(C) vs. "HBK" Shawn Michaels:
Great entrances, Lots of cool moves, good length, pretty good crowd and nice build up.
Certainly a great match but can not score higher than this since this is wrestlemania after all. Possibly a 9/10 at a regular ppv but very good effort by both men.

Lumberjill Match for the WWE Women's Championship
Melina vs. Ashley Massaro:
Same old diva stuff. They always give the playboy cover girl a big push wich is fine by me:)You get to see all the divas which is a plus.

Battle of the Billionaires Hair vs. Hair Match
Bobby Lashley (w/ Donald Trump) vs. Umaga (w/ Mr. McMahon)
Steve Austin as Special Guest Referee:
Entertaining? Yes, but still kinda dull for something that takes place at wrestlemania. Ok match and good ending. Oh, and i loved the barber's chair entrance hillarious.

The ECW Originals (Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, The Sandman & Rob Van Dam) vs. The New Breed (Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von, Matt Striker & Kevin Thorn):
Fun to see ecw at wrestlemania. Mediocre action, with exeption from elijah burkes braids flyng all over the place, and the most elevation i have ever seen on a monkey flip by RVD.

World Heavyweight Championship Match
"Animal" Batista(C) vs. "Phenom" The Undertaker:
Great build up and great entrances. A very physical match with both men giving their all. WM Main event quality all the way and good near-falls.
OH MY GOD. This actually exeeded my expectations by miles and if this was the last match on the card as a main-event i would have considered giving the dvd a four out of five. Great match, if not a classic.

United States Championship Match
Chris Benoit(C) vs. MVP:
Easilly could have been a smackdown match, but good counters by both men.

Kane vs. The Great Khali:
Well.. Was never going to be good, but this was as close to horrible as it gets. Kane tries hard though.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Mr. Kennedy vs. Finlay vs. Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy vs. King Booker vs. CM Punk vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton:
Many great bumps and spots. Jeff hits a crazy legdrop and hornswoggle goes for a fairly uncomftarble ride!
Better than the WM 22 Money in the Bank Ladder Match and nearly as good as the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WM 21.
Disc 3 features the 2007 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in its entirety. And it is a great class that year.
Overall i would recommend it for big wrestling fans! Ther are a ton of extras such as:

very enjoyable !, 2007-10-30
wrestlemania 23 from this year was a good event let down by a few filler matches,wrestlemania being wrestlemania shouldnt be at this carry on,but its hard to be perfect,but when this event shines it could blind you.
The opening match is a great match,perhaps like many say it deserved a higher placed spot on the card,nevertheless,its a money in the bank ladder match with 8 athletes fighting for the right to cash in a title match when they see fit,with so many scraps the camera couldnt fit it all in,maybe a split screen would help but cant see that ever happening,there are some high flying moments least of all from jeff hardy and the outcome was pleasing.
Next up was the great khali vs kane and this was a poor match,second only to the lumberjill match which was rotten,two big men with low centre of gravity pushing each other around,a dull,lame match that stank the room out.
benoit who has since passed away,fought mvp next in what was a very technical match and showcased that mvp is a fine athlete,his current feud with matthew hardy seems wasted on his obvious talents.
The hall of fame inductees killed a few minutes before a strangely placed in the bill title match between the undertaker and the champ batista,nevertheless,this was a great match,the crowd were going mad for it and the outcome was very pleasing indeed.
The ecw originals fought the new breed in an eight man tag next and was handy enough to watch but there were no hardcore rules which was odd,wasnt a great match but i thought it was decent and no pain in watching it.
The battle of the billiinaires match followed with vince mcmahon along with his ring hand umaga fighting lashley along with his coach for the night don trump with stone cold as guest ref,the loser had his hair shaved off,as with most vince fights laughs are played for,the in ring fighting took second stage to the outside madness and all in all was a fun match but not world class,i was happy to see don trump get a stone cold stunner,he was annoying if the truth be told.
The second final match,why so high in the running order was a lumberjill match and wasnt that good,melina vs ashley,as with pretty much all womens matches the crowd switch off and the fight lasts just a few minutes,i would imagine if they ever have an iron womans match that lasts a hour that the crowd will leave the arena.
The main event followed ,cena vs hbk in what was the match of the night,there are many who hate cena,who say he cant wrestle,well here he shows that he can against michaels who has match of his career in some places,the crowd were again wild here and spurred the athletes on,this was a fine match that emphasised that this was a fine event let down by two matches that were just lousy,so four stars and well done wwe on this event.
This Wrestlemaina was OK but is has matches that lack, 2007-10-21
Wrestlemaina WWE biggest ppv of the year and 23 was not that bad but just ok this could of been a whole lot better.
WWE Championship Match
John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels
This was the main event and this match was not even good i mean John Cena winning the match again thats 3 Wrestlemaina's he won and it should of been Shawn who won. But Cena and his kid boyfriends had to have him to win to keep his fan group of 16 and under happy. 4/10
Lumberjill Match for the WWE Women's Championship
Melina vs. Ashley Massaro
Melina is not a good wrestler and Ashley is not at all making a really boring match just for 2 sexy ladies in the ring and the other divas around the ring. The match was slow and boring. 2/10

Lashley actually done a good job in this match and seeing Stone Cold in it been it successful if it wasn't for him i would of skipped it. McMahon getting his head saved baled was funny then Donald Trump getting a Stone Cold Stunner was brilliant ever thought he would of done it. 8/10

Batista vs. Undertaker
This was a decent match better then Raw's WWE championship match with Cena and Shawn. The great thing was to the title changed hands but we all knew it would of. 8/10
United States Championship Match
Chris Benoit vs. MVP
I enjoyed this match MVP put i great job into it put disappointed with the end i really wanted MVP to come out with the win. MVP had a great entrance to coming out with girls MVP loses to a diving head butt. This was also Chris Benoit final Wrestlemaina and yet he put a great match into it too. 7/10
Kane vs. The Great Khali
The worst match of the night Kane is a great wrestler but Great Khali on Wrestlemaina why destroy the event like that. Kane loses to Khali just skip this match its awful even more worse then the main event. 2/10
Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Mr. Kennedy vs. Finlay vs. Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy vs. King Booker vs. CM Punk vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton
I think this is the best match on Wrestlemaina 23 and best of any of the Money in the Bank matches everyone will want to watch this match over and over. Jeff doing a leg drop from a high ladder onto Edge was amazing classic Wrestlemaina giving to Jeff Hardy once again. Randy Orton giving CM Punk a super RKO from the top of the ladder loved that it was classic. Kennedy giving Hornswoggle a Kenton Bomb from the top of the ladder was great. Kennedy picks up the win i was happy with that and thats once match will be always be remembered. 10/10
Also included in this DVD is the 2007 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in full. Then theres a whole ton of Special Features to the dvd over all this whole DVD gets 3/10 most matches do lack and could of been better. The money in the bank match was match of the night.
A great PPV yet incredibly overhyped, 2007-12-04
1. The money in the bank ladder match King Booker, Edge, Finlay, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Randy Orton CM Punk and Mr Kennedy competed in a great match which really made you realize that what you were watching was wrestlemainia. had lots of great moves especially whilst jumping off the ladders.If your a fan of CM punk or edge then this may not be for you as they didn't have too much action in this one. Involved plenty of drama as we have come to expect from these matches.It lasted the longest of any match at Wrestlemaina but never got boring. The end was pretty good but could have been better. 8/10
2.The Great Khali vs Kane
A very poor match.Khali's was horrendous as usual.The match was over quickly.the loser didn't seem to put up much of a challenge and the man i wanted to lose didn't. All in all i hated this match. 3/10
3. Melina vs Ashley in a lumberjill match for the Womens Championship
An average match which was never going to be anything special. The right women won . No real point of the lumberjills as far as the match was concerned. The right women won. 4/10
4.MVP vs Chris Benoit for the United States Championship
A very technical match with submission holds, lots of grounding moves and real wrestling. Unfortunately it wasnt very exciting and was pretty slow.Good but not a wrestlemania worthy match. 6.5/10
5.ECW Originals vs the New Breed
A good match but nowhere near as good as i expected this to be. Considering the fact that this was the single extremists only match at wrestlemania 23 it didnt have enough hardcore moments in. The ending was rubbish and I would have liked to see the other team win. Not bad but certainly not good. 5/10
6.Undertaker vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship
A fantastic match which lived up to all expectations and exceeded them. Loads of twists and turns and some fantastic moves. Despite it being a long and tiring match for both Batista and the Undertaker the were both on top form throughout.The 2nd longest match at Wrestlemainia 23, in my opinion the best match on the card and should have been the main event. 9/10
7.Bobby Lashley (w/Donald Trump) vs Umaga (w/Vince McMahon and Armando Alejandro Estrada) (w/Steve Austin as Special Guest Referee) in a Hair vs. Hair match
The main thing to say about this matched is that it was gloriously OVERHYPED. With stone cold steve austin as the guest referee we were really expecting something incredible to happen and in short, it didn't.The match itself wasn't bad in fact it was actually quite good.If it hadn't been so hyped it wouldn't have been such a terrible disapoinment and it would actually have been hailed as a great match.It had lots of twists and turns and to be honest nobody really knew what was going to happen.The ending was quite impressive and seemed to make sense and in my opinion the right team won. Quite a decent match 7/10
8.John Cena vs Shawn Michaels
A superb match which along with the whc match really captured and intesified the electric atmosphere at wrestlemaina 23. A great match with lots of twists and turns with some fantastic moments that had me tearing my hair out.Both wrestlers were very evenly matched however in the end the winner was quite predicatble.This fortunately didn't make the match any less impressive. A great match. 8.5/10
