Really nice mouse, I have used it with my mac, plugged it in and worked straight away, easy to install the software for customising the buttons. Really accurate and easy to navigate, take some time to get used to it (having used a mouse all my life) but once used to it, really accurate and much better than a mouse, its much easier to get the mouse from a to b, and much quicker. A quality product.

Like most Logitech gear this is a reasonably solid bit of kit which does what you want it to. I'd have liked a dedicated scrolling function which I didn't realise was not featured when I ordered it. Instead you can programme one of the four buttons to act as a switch which will toggle the trackball between moving the cursor or scrolling the page. This is OK once you get used to it. The mouse is fairly weighty and has good non slip feet on it which you need if it is not to skate around when you click the side buttons as these are on a 45degr slope. The 'marble' trackball is - well, what can I say - it's just lovely. So smooth and friction free, very controllable once you have got used to a new type of motion for your hand, and again quite weighty so if you give it a good spin the cursor will cross the whole screen in one movement. You can get around large areas like drawings and photos really easily.
Originally I ordered this item because I'm too much of a slob to keep enough desk space clear for a conventional mouse and the laptop touchpad was driving me mad, but I'd recommend it to anyone especially if you get RSI cramp easily.
