Anyway straight to the nitty gritty.

This is a cracking tool for doing away forever with the noisy graphics card fan problem.

I'm cooling an AGP Radeon 9700 AIW, and it works fine. Elsewhere online there are remarks about making sure your case fan/s are all blowing (as opposed to sucking) so the cooler gets adequate airflow, but in reality unless you are into overclocking your card this should never be an issue.

Fitting was quite fun if not a little fiddly, and its only when it's all clipped on does it start to feel secure. Until then you feel certain that it's about to fall apart at any moment. I had to move one PCI card down a slot to make space for the expansive heatfin, but otherwise installation went well.

Firing up the pc with this kit on is a hold your breath and see experience, but after a few rounds of Team Fortress 2 on medium settings I felt reassured that it was doing its job well.

You can find out how the heatpipes work by searching wiki heatpipes on Google, and I can say it's worth reading so you understand how it actually does its job so well. All in all a very good buy, and a goodbye to rubbish fans.
