I plugged in my new QUEST STEAM IRON and it tripped the house electrics. I tried again - same result. It leaked water like a sieve. I double checked instructions but house electric failure and damp carpets wasn't covered. The instructions did list and describe the various iron components including item 7. as "Beteen handle and sopelate" and item 17 as "After about". I suspect the iron wasn't manufactured in a country whose first language was English!!! Obviously my iron was faulty, and I have had to return it, but I won't be asking for a second.

Seemed like a good idea, cordless and a good price. When you leave it on the stand, it leaks water everywhere which can't be very good for the electrics, and certainly didn't do my carpets any good. It's going straight in the bin. Having read other review- I realise it's not just me! Re-read the instructions, and no way to stop this happening.
