The clue is in the title. This is an excellent quick coffee maker which keeps the coffee hot! I bought this for work but should our coffee maker at home die I would replace it with one of these. I hate tepid coffee, especially if you have to wait for it! Good value and not too bulky. There's not much more to say about a coffee maker. It doesn't take photos, play games or make toast but as a coffee maker it would be hard to beat.

I've only had this machine for a couple of weeks, but it is really worth it! I bought it because of the good customer reviews it had and my advice is to rely upon these recommendations. It is quick, easy to use and clean and it really does keep the coffee hot! An absolute steal for just over £20 and I would absolutely recommend it!!

It's small and compact yet makes a full 1.5 litre of excellent coffee. It has the smallest worktop footprint I've seen and isn't too tall to fit under cabinets.

What more could you ask for? Well an insulated coffee jug, but that's too greedy at this price.

I've had many coffee makers in my time, and none has lasted more than a 2-3 years. But even if this eventually goes the way of the others, it won't be a financial disaster.

Couple of tips:

Although it doesn't say so in the instructions, you can use filter papers instead of the permanent filter supplied; they take out the very fine grounds the nylon filter lets through

Use a Britta or similar filtered water - it's had some of the hardness taken out of it and the coffee maker will last longer.

I've been using this machine for some time now, and it's great. The machine itself looks smart and is easy to keep clean, and shields the jug well.

The jug itself is excellent. The lid is permanently attached, and the pouring lip allows coffee to pass it at any speed without spillage (with other jugs I've had to be very careful about this.)

For the price, this is very hard to beat.

We bought this filter machine to replace our first one, which eventually got slower and slower and very noisy. After considering several different models, we chose the Prestige because it had the features we wanted: 1.5 litre capacity, a non-drip valve, a visible water-level gauge, and a built-in plastic filter. It looks very presentable, in colours that match most kitchens; and, best of all, it's offered at a very low price.

After a couple of months, we are very happy with our purchase. Every morning, we fill up the reservoir, ladle in the coffee of our choice - from Costa Rica, Papua New Guinea, Ethiopia, Kenya, or Colombia - and flip the switch. The house is soon filled with the fragrant aroma of that particular coffee, and 10-15 minutes later we can pour ourselves piping hot cups full. That 1.5 litre capacity translates to 10-12 small (normal) cups, and I can refill even my giant mug (nearly a pint) a couple of times if I'm working alone. The non-drip valve means no annoying spillage onto the hot plate when you remove the flask. It's quiet in operation, very easy to wash and dry, and the plastic filter means you don't have to go without coffee if you run out of paper filters. (But we prefer to use them, as it's easier to dump the paper filter, grounds and all, into the bin than to scrape the wet grounds out of the plastic reusable filter).

One last thing: it's extremely light, and easily lifted with one hand.
