Seems OK, 2008-10-07 Comment: I wouldn't say it was quite Whisper Quiet as you can faintly hear the disk heads move and park (I put my old disk back in and it was the same just a little bit fainter) but it seems to be fine.
I upgraded from the original 40GB disk by using Acronis True Image to take a disk image of the original disk onto an external USB hard drive. I then swapped the disk on my laptop for the new 120GB drive. I then restored the image to the new drive from the USB drive using Acronis Bootable CD and then resized the partitions (using EASEUS Partition Manager which is a free download).
Not difficult at all and as a process this worked well so am now considering doing the same on my main PC.
