Comment: I needed an ultralight and convenient solution for my wide's schoolwork backup and transfer. The thing is absolutely tiny, hardly bigger than a USB plug, so looked just right, but it simply did not work, right out of the box. The card is fine, it is the reader that is faulty.

What you have here is a case of a famous name manufacturer adding their name to a cheap generic peice of kit. Search Amazon on the word "Mopogo" and see what I mean.

I have kept the card and thrown the device itself in the bin. It is just far too much hassle to send it back.

You will gain zero from the Kingston branding, just buy the generic item at the best price you can get it. They are everywhere.
