This is not a night vision cam, 2008-03-21
It's not a bad camera but this is NOT a night vision cam. Which came as a disappointment because that's why I ordered two of them. When I opened the box I found it's just an ordinary web cam of average quality. When it gets dark in the room, the 6 LEDs will come on and illuminate the person in front of the camera. That's not night vision, that's a webcam with a torch. If that's good enough for you, fine, but if you're looking for a proper night vision cam give this one a miss. It's not what it says it is.

it has a very good picture but i need some help getting the mic working, other than that ,for the price, its a great little camera i would recommend it to everybody
Not worth it., 2008-09-23
There are issues with the driver, it works to start with and then after a few days, the picture is black. After reinstalling, it works again but the same thing happens. Now it won't work at all after reinstalling. The Mic is good and continues to work even though the the camera dosn't, the sound quality is good. The software dosn't work and crashes. Overall not great.

We had one of these webcams, and it has been used on many different systems over the years, its Picture quality is ok, and you cant complain for the price.
My sister likes the look of this, so she mainley used it, 5 stars as on my sistem I have been through several webcams over the years, but this one on my sisters PC is still going strong
It does exactly what you expect- and something else, 2008-03-24
This product is exactly what you expect- looking at the price and what you are getting. Whilst the microphone is bad quality when you are using the webcam due to the interference, the webcam generally functions as you want it to and can be focused using the ring. Whilst the colour is sometimes off- it can be adjusted- it does need to be colour balanced when it is plugged in. Whats the something else? The LED's everyone has been complaining about is what makes this camera "night vision" - they light up when it is dark or the sensor is covered up- a nice touch that can be useful sometimes but annoying at others. In conclusion, its worth what your paying for it.
