Works with Xbox 360 & Vista, 2008-05-15 Works excellently, great price. Works perfectly with Xbox 360 and Windows Vista, would recomend it, takes a bit of getting used to but excellent. It grey not black by the way. The picture lies.
But all good
I need retraining!, 2007-11-12 Feels great to type on, though I do find I need to hit the keys a little more accurately nearer the centre of the keys to get all the characters than I normally would on a plastic 'click' keyboard. This makes programming very interesting indeed! I still love though!
Takes me back to the days of the ZX Spectrum. I could never understand why we moved away from these type of keyboards in the first place!
works for me., 2008-08-29 The keyboard is thinner than I expected, rolls into approx 7cm diameter without stressing the rubber. The space key is divided into two to prevent unresponsive button pushing. Lies flat on the desk. I am using this for shortcut keys in programs like blender, also typing this review with it. Not suitable for typing long documents but ideal for my needs, supplementing a laptop keyboard on the move with a full keyboard. Haven't remapped the keys yet but come on its these two @" and thats about it. If you get a white one you can redraw the symbols.
Good Poduct, 2007-08-07 Good product, more grey than black, takes a bit of getting used to, feels a bit strange at first
Different., 2007-12-29 Be aware, residence of the UK, that this is a US layout keyboard as I found out to my dismay. To use it properly you therefore have to alter your system settings to a US keyboard layout. This wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for the lack of a pound sterling input on it. Or euros for that matter.
The keyboard itself is a bit awkward to use. The keys feel wobbly to type on, as you'll doubtless realise when you try to write something with it. And the backspace key is too small. I keep hitting the strangely placed '\' key. Finally the keys sometimes double tap. Writing this review I've had to make endless corrections, which is just so tedious.
Note that Vista does not recognise this as any kind of known device through the USB. You have to use the PS/2 adapter.
Pros:
Quiet, comfortable (ish), looks nice, it rolls up
Cons:
Key's sometimes double tap, feels wobbly, awkward to type on, US layout, small backspace key
My advice would be to go for a nice slimline logitech keyboard. This is more of a novelty than an actually useful product.
