    We had the teletubbies version of this kite for years. It's great to keep in the car or stuff in a coat pocket to liven up walks on the beach or hills for young children (or young at heart adults!) Don't expect stunts or anything wildly exciting. It just flies at the end of a string. But it does work and doesn't have any complicated parts. Worthwhile stocking-filler.

    I needed a kite that was suitable for a six year old to fly in a light breeze - well it did all this. The Bob the Builder link and the fact it was a kite increased the excitement which was not let down by its performance - once we (the adults) had it flying the right side down (doh) it flew easily and without drama - ie no constant crashing. This is a basic no frills kite for youngsters that has little to break and comprises just the kite and the string. It doesn't take up much space (fits in your pocket) and is reasonably robust - a thickish polythene plastic sheet. Highly recommended for the price.
