Would not recommend this product, 2007-12-03 I just bought this product for my son, and have to say that I am VERY disappointed with the quality. First of all, the items practically explode when you take them out of the box - very dangerous. If you do buy it, be sure you don't open it around your little ones. Secondly, they are absolutely impossible to get back into the box, or into a collapsed state for storage. The instructions are impossible to decipher, and from what I can tell, just don't work. There is also no mechanism for attaching the three bits together - which makes them all rather useless, I think.
My son enjoyed crawling through the tunnel, but I am sure I could have found just a tunnel for much less than I paid for this set.
good fun & value, not one for the HSE, 2008-03-11 I bought a similar product at the weekend and it has been great fun. Other reviewers have warned of the danger of these things "exploding" out of the packaging & not being able to fold them down - yes this is sort-of the case, but the warning should be taken with a pinch of salt and a little common sense. The structures act like springs - fore-warned is fore-armed; please don't be scared from buying one of these, they're great value for the fun. The "buildings" should fold flat without any hassle, the tunnel is a bit like a canned-spring-snake. Packing everything away can require a knack; folding and twisting - without breaking.
Impossible to pack away, 2008-01-24 The tunnel and cylinder shape house are easy enough to put up and down. The tent, however, would take a genius to be able to fold it away. Added to which, there is no bag to store it all in. Once you've somehow managed to fold the tent into some storable shape, it comes out very wonky the next time you unfold it. However, my kids (3 and 1) really like it.
