great product however the installation software is rubbish , 2008-12-31
My computer was crashing ,only when I was using the internet
IT Was very stable doing anything else , even when playing
GTA IV ,Crysis , etc...
Once I ve uninstalled , (Belkin Wireless Networking Utility) it became the most stable system in the world.
Now I can use this usb device only with the driver installed without my computer crashing.(Belkin Wireless Networking Utility) was spoiling all the fun
Problematic, 2008-11-14
I bought the N! router and USB adapter at the same time and initially they worked very well, easy set up etc then intermittantly the USB adapter lost connection despite windows giving a full signal strength. the problem has deteriorated further and advice from Belkin Tech Sup to re-boot router, adapter etc have all failed. a re-install of the USB software has now caused the software to fail to recognise the adapter even though windows can and can still intermittantly connect to the router. Very problematic and stressful. awaiting a reply from Belkin fur further advice but if not successful it is going back - its lucky its not in pieces after sliding down the wall!!!

Can anybody tell me if you can use this adapter in a PS3 to enhance the wireless signal, as my PS3 is located just too far from my wireless modem router.

Extremely dissapointed, 2008-08-17
I brought this to go with my N1 Router which is excellent, however this adapter is not.
It seems to connect periodically from time to time for no more then a minute, when it is connected it runs very well but cuts out and refuses to connect again.
What's also interesting is that it connects fine to my next door neighbour that runs his wireless unsecurely.
All in all, go for the cheaper 20 quid ones.

It arrived, took five minutes to set up and is working really well. Adapter is in an upstairs room, router downstairs and is working quicker than when connected with ethernet in the same room.
Very pleased and would recommend this product.
