Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5 it is ok-if you can hear it!, 2008-04-29
Bought this recently for my "new" house, attracted by the claims of fantastic clarity etc. I have to say, it really ain't all that! The sound is so quiet ( & try as I might the huge instruction booklet will not yield a simple Volume adjustment) that you have to ram your ear into the earpiece to try to hear the other person-which hurts!

Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5 Yet another disaster., 2008-09-10
Does Amazon allow a 'Zero' rating?

Like all the other reviews have said - diabolical sound quality and volume. What's worse is, if you have the pair or triple sets, the phone books don't share automatically between handsets, and when you have a missed call, you have to clear it off all handsets individually.

Come on Philips, get a grip - who is designing products in there these days?

Avoid, avoid, AVOID!

As a home phone goes these are brill - don't beleive the moaners on here.

Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5 Its OK - expected a little bit more for the price I paid, 2008-05-18
We purchased this phone so I could put on the handsfree option (an excellent feature) whilst I waited for a call centre advisor to become available to take my call, this meant I could continue to carry out other 'tasks' at the same time. However I do agree with other 2 reviews that the volume does not go as high as one would expect. It is certainly clearer than my old telephone (BT Studio 1500) which buzzed, you do not get any buzzing with this Philips model. One other thing that worries me about this phone is its not difficult to knock the phone of its docking station. But still all in all its better than my old telephone.

Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5 Dreadful sound quality, 2008-05-13
Sound quality terrible, certainly does not live up to HD clarity that it claims to have. I agree with previous reviewer that you have to hold tight to ears to hear anything.
Nice looking phone but that's about all, can hardly read keys and not user friendly.
