Very comfortable, 2008-04-02 I would mostly agree with D. Martin about this product. The mouse is without flaw, the keyboard almost so. I ordered this set because I broke my wrist and since have found using a conventional keyboard painful. I do not have that problem with this ergo keyboard as it allows me to hold my wrist at a slight angle. Unlike D. Martin I have no problems with the space bar, but do with the N and M keys. For some reason although I have adjusted well for all the other keys I seem to regularly hit N instead of M. However as I become more used to the keyboard this becomes less of a problem.
Does what it says on the box - well., 2007-12-22 I previously used the MX700 cordless mouse and keyboard set. This is as good as the previous, which unfortunately started to lose charging ability despite new batteries.
Anyway:
The BAD:
- I found the space bar key has a very different feel to the rest of the keys. Initially this caused me a lot of typos as it never felt like it had been pressed properly, but as I type now I don't even notice it. You get used to it
- Sometimes the signal from the base station seems to be interfered with when a lot of paper work is between it and the mouse. This has only happened a couple of times however, and has really not been an issue
The GOOD:
- Pretty much everything else. It's a keyboard and mouse that does what it says on the box. There are no delays in key presses or mouse movements, there are ample extra functions on the keyboard and the ergo design is hopefully of some benefit. The mouse is excellent, and while I haven't used the left/right option on the mousewheel I assume it could come in handy. Battery life seems good and there is really not much I can criticise.
I had a few concerns with the ergo design and it is a little awkward initially but soon becomes second nature and thankfully does not seem to affect your ability to type on non ergo keyboards.
Functions include a Calculator button, 4 definable function buttons, a sleep button, mute, volume, play/pause, stop, forward and back controls. Mouse has definable forward, back, zoom +/-, "100%" and mousewheel/button that moves laterally as well. All mouse buttons can be reassigned.
Great product, 2008-07-27 As with all Logitech products these are well build and solid bits of kit.. the design is nice and both the mouse and the keyboard look good and feel good to the touch
I would agree with the reviews above that the space bar feels a little odd and the RH shift key is very small.. but once you get over this I feel that these are really not major issues....
Great product for a really great price
