good while it lasts, 2008-05-25 although this product has a very quick transfer rate to it and the fact it covers so many different memory sticks/cards, the one thing that lets it down is the fact that after about 5 or 6 months of use it stops working. if you want a cheap solution that you have to replace every few months i recommend this otherwise dont touch it with a barge pole
Inexpensive and it works, 2008-11-03 For the amount paid I certainly won't complain about it. It does have the feel of something made cheaply, but it works. Plug it into a USB port and several new drive letters appear in Windows Explorer. Plug a card into the device and an LED lights to let you know it is reading it, which is just as well because otherwise it isn't easy to tell if you have inserted it correctly. Cheap and does the job required.
Cheap, reliable and works - a good reader., 2008-12-17 I won't do a long review for this one, because it's just a card reader that does what it says on the tin. Very cheap too. If you are a PSP, Wii, Homebrew, Camera or any other device user then this should be a good buy.
A fine reader., 2008-08-16 We've got one of these at work. It's been around for quite some time and it's still working.
It's lost a star because this price is not very competitive at time of writing; the Hama USB 2.0 Card Reader is now probably a better bet value wise as it's £2 cheaper with a similar feature set. However, this remains a sturdy alternative, sorry to disagree with J Barnes.
