Hate it, don't buy it!, 2008-11-22 Bought this phone (I have a black one and the mango/orange one) as I thought it was cool. Hate it so much, have had to replace it with a Philips (which I love). The mango has a slide out feature to dial phone numbers - bad idea. Somehow, when making calls, others here beeping sounds (not sure if this comes from the slide out phone area).
On calls over 30 minutes, the phone line drops and the phone goes dead! Not good when on a conference Call. Then, you have to wait for a minute till it resets so you can try to use the phone again.
What a waste of money!
Worst Phone Ever!, 2008-12-20 I have a new modern cool flat and wanted a phone to match. It looks the part, but boy was I wrong about this poor excuse for a phone.
Where do I start:
*You need a degree in I.T to store numbers or use the extras
*It has mood swings-I want to work, now I don't want to work
*It will ring, you can pick it up, but you won't hear anything
*It will embarrass you, by turning off when in mid conversation, even though it is fully charged!
*Even when fully charged, you have to keep it plugged in or it won't work
*The design of the slide is rubbish as when you slide it back down after dialling, it hangs up.Trying to have a conversation with the slide up is uncomfortable
*How can something that looks so good be so bad!
I had this phone for just a few months and it stays off, I just have it out for show! Unfortunately for me I didn't keep the receipt! Arghhhhhh. Thankfully I listened to my mum when she advised me to get a cheap corded phone (just in case). I'm now doing my research into getting a new cordless phone.
