Once i struggled with the X15 from the box yes its pretty weighty, but I soon found out it was on castors which made moving it about a delight, the instruction book is pretty poor, but as I have had previous shredders I didnt need too much tuition, once set up its a delight and extremly quiet Im hoping as this shredder was a bit more expensive initialy that it will outlast my other two shredders as they always seem to fail on me after a few years,time will tell.

Performance of the machine is very impressive and it can handle pretty much anything you throw at it. It's also quiet and the motor sounds robust.Quality of the bin however is poor. It's pretty flimsy and looks and feels cheaply constructed. My previous Fellowes shredder was much better in this respect. It's early days but it seems to be a good product but watch the quality.
