I bought this (from E Buyer. It was cheaper) as my 1st wireless router as the reviews for it were superb (see E Buyer) I was worried about setting it up as i'm not too hot with this kind of thing but it was a doddle! Just waiting for my X Box 360 wireless bridge now so i can have wireless X Box live!

I purchased on of these today to get my laptop working at home. Instructions relatively easy and it worked straight away. I did get it cheaper than shown here though - PC World had offer on.

This is my 1st wireless router and I have to say it is excellent value for money. It is so easy to set up (on screen prompts) was up and running in 10 minutes. I have to say that the 1st one that arrived was faulty (not the sellers fault) but they replaced it overnight, since then no problems at all. I had my desktop, laptop and PS3 all running at once and there was no lag suffered.

Really pleased with this product. I have just replaced a Belkin eqivilant that had run continuously for approximately four years although has been killed off by the rubbish power connection/cable to the unit. The original was still available on Amazon but I thought lets try something different with better security etc. and so far the set up, performance and user configurable options are excellent.

For those not technically minded a guided set up will get you online within 15 minutes or so (see other reviews). For those needing more advanced setup options all the usual suspects and tweakable settings are available through the usual web based gui. QoS service looks good and should ensure that my connection gets the right share of badwidth over everyone else!

Build quality is good although hardly rock solid but then none of the others in this price band are either.

For £33 I am really pleased and am confident this will be an excellent replacement for my now defunct Belkin.

This product works great! after a bit of tweaking on my part, ya see. It wasnt picking up my dsl signal, and because it says "for BT Connections" on the box i thought, shoot, ill have to get BT Broadband. (Im on Bulldog). Anyway it turns out I didnt, so if anyone else is having this same problem follow these instructions:

Plug the Zoom into your PC through an ethernet lead, then,
Open Internet expolorer and go to this address: http://10.0.0.2/
the default username and password are

user: admin
pass: zoomadsl

then go to:
advanced setup -> adsl configuration

then change the "standard", try all of the options, remembering to save changes then write to flash after each one. Also once youve changed the option and saved it, turn the modem off and on to get it looking for the signal.

This worked for me after a weekend of worry, they should really put this in the manual.

Kind regards
Kris
