I've had this for almost a week now and have to say that I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I wanted to set up a wired network so that our 3 machines (2 laptops and a PC) could all access the internet at the same time, via one phone line.

Setting up was very easy. All that was required was to replace my existing, external modem with the Belkin, connecting it to my laptop via the ethernet cable provided and then connect from the phone line to the Belkin.
Next, just type in the address (from the enclosed leaflet) in explorer's address bar and on-screen instructions take you through the set-up (you basically need your user name that your ISP accepts).
Next, just connect via ethernet cables to the other computers. A couple of on-screen clicks and it's done (the set up on the first machine doesn't have to be repeated for the others).

And that's it! So far, no problems and no loss of connection (although I'm not using wireless).

I noticed that the indicator light on the front was showing that wireless was enabled and working. As I didn't want wireless, or the risk of any local hackers, I went back into the menu and under 'setup' there is an option 'wireless'. Click this for the 'enable'/'disable' facility. A simple switch on the back of the box would have been easier to find but this is a very minor niggle on a great piece of kit.

Good overall device -- a bit quirky with VPN connections as it will cut out the odd time resulting in the need to reconnect to your VPN. Very easy to use with wireless range extender Belkin F5D7132
