Very disappointing, 2008-11-16
This dock was advertised to work with all ipods. However, although I can use it to play my 4th generation nano, it doesn't charge, making it practically useless. Also, the remote doesn't provide facilities to navigate the menus. Since the 4th generation nano has spoken menus, there is no need to see the ipod when navigating so it would be good to be able to do this from the remote.
If you have a different ipod to the 4th generation nano it would probably be fine, although I expect it probably won't charge any other new models.
Doesn't seem to work with 3G Nano, 2008-10-15
Works on 1G Nano, and my 80GB IPOD. But with the 3G Nano I can get sound but not video, also doesn't charge 3G Nano.
Good Value For Money, 2008-10-29
This little gadget is just the job, I have an ipod classic 30gb.
I have it linked to my TV through the svideo, the sound I have through my hi-fi.
Everything works fine, I haven't quite got the hang of the remote, but its early days.
All in all I am very please, I am also happy with the price.
I recommended this product to my son who has the same ipod as mine, he is also into gadgets.
He is over the moon with it, so what can I say? Except, buy it.

Good dock but no video for Classic, 2008-11-15
The dock works fine with the Classic 80GB iPod for playing music via a TV or HiFi and for charging. However, there is no video out via either the composite or S-video outputs. Logic3 website recognises this and claims it is due to this dock pre-dating the Classic. If you want video or photos to the TV from a Classic iPod don't buy this dock.

Bought this to connect my 3G nano to my hi-fi amp. Does exactly what I wanted. The remote control feels a bit tacky but the dock itself looks and feels fine. Sound quality also seems fine, although you do have to crank the volume up on the amp a touch more. Overall I am very happy with this product. Charges the i-pod aswell which is good. Just remember to get the correct connector leads when you buy as you don't get these in the box.
