Absolutely agree with the previous reviewer, I don't even have a pet but thought it would be good for just general use but the constant cutting out is driving me insane, you just can't whizz around your home in one go. It's quite costly to dump it and buy a new one :-(

Within days of purchase, the turbo brush stopped working, I almost lost the will to live during my attempt get it replaced. The cable tie thingy was replaced by selotape very quickly. I have two cats, it coped pretty well with the carpet but forget the upholstery. Despite have a hard floor setting, all it did was blow cat hair up in the air, making it impossible to vac laminate areas, I also had to be very careful how I passed the fireplace, or ash and soot would be blown out into the room, perhaps thats what the cyclon part of the name is about. It lasted two years, something happened to the motor and sparks began to fly (literally). Don't buy it is my advice, for most jobs you would do better with a dustpan and brush!

I think this is the newer version of the 1600w Vitesse. It certainly sucks up the dirt plus the dog's hairs but the trouble is that it clogs quickly because of the dog's hairs against the filter. Having done this the motor cuts out and you have to wait 30 minutes for it to cool down so it will start again. I emptied it and have just done the dining room which is about 4.5m x 3.5m and it clogged and cut out.

I'm going to take it up to the tip.
