Great Game, 2007-03-17 This is a great stand alone expansion from Guild Wars. Once completed Guild wars you can easily travel to the Factions location by the completetion of one quest, and you will land in a place where mobs are already LVLs 20+. And if you are just playing standalone factions, or create a factions campaigne character there is a great tutorial, that personally I think is better than the one that came with the original. And there is 2 New classes, which is pretty cool.
Recommended to anyone who is a fan of MMORPGS, and RPGS.
THE BEST GUILD WARS GAME, 2007-09-04 this is the best guild wars game ever becaus of its in game enviroment and plot
Not so hot..., 2009-09-23 I didn't mind Guild Wars: Prophecies at all, but was a little (lot) disappointed with Factions. Way too much PvP content for my liking.
One is never likely to get the content updates that monthly subscription based MMORPGs get, but for those on more irregular budgets, this sort of thing is not bad at all. Good classes and skills/powers, reasonable graphics if rather mediocre sound.
I did not like many of the Factions area (horribly repetitive city graphics), much of it's content and too much PvP).
A bad sequel to a brillant game, 2007-11-11 When i got propices i loved it and got really far and was really happy, i loved and still love guild battles and other pvp's. I got this with really high expectations but then i was let down you get started and you have to leavel up like hell! With the first one by the 3 mission you only had to be lvl 6-8 but on this just after the 2nd mission you *have* to be lvl 20 it si so annoying you get no chance to happly explore the streets of kaining city because you get attack by some lvl 20 thugs who are trying to make a point in a gang war and then the is the flaming afflicted lvl 22 or above! it just simple suicide! eventually it gets better when you get out of that horrible city and choose your side kurzick or luxon (then you can do allince battles which are ok) Aswell you always fight the afflicted they are just so annyoning and get old in propices there were half a million diffrent things you fought throughout the campian (Charr, Undead, White Mantle, Mursatt, Jade Amours, forggoten to name a few) but with this it is Crimson Skull, Afflicted, Afflicted, Afflicted, Luxons or Kurzicks, Afflicted, Shiro'ken and of course Afflicted it just gets so annoying always looking for enemies and seeing guess what Afflicted. Also the Afflicted are the worse desinged monster ever they look like a pink version of the flood (for anyone who has played halo) but a bad grapics version of them with alot more legs and big puffy buits and less armlessness. It just is stupid so much lvling up to fight the one most annoying enemy you see throught the game get nightfall instead aswell as propices it much better.
Bad Game really is the simple overview of this!
