GRUNTFUTTOCK, 2010-02-02 THIS GAME IS BRILL, GRAFFICS ARE EXCELLENT,GAMEPLAY IS GOOD STORYLINE IS GOOD THERE IS NOT MUCH ELSE THAT COULD BE SAID ABOUT IT. I MUST SAY THAT THIS GAME AND DOOM3 IS NOT FOR THE BEGINNER IN FPS MODE.
Good game!, 2009-07-01 I found Doom 3 a grueling, oppressive and scary game when I first played it in 2005. This one is pretty similar but as I didn't wear headphones it didn't freak me out as much! There is slightly more to it than in the original, not much but some slightly more puzzle like situations that you find yourself in. The double barrel shotgun is awesome too. I completed the game without too much trouble on the 'veteran' level and I think anyone who is used to playing FPS's should be playing it on this level.
Doomed, 2009-08-02 What a fantastic game - really intriguing and the puzzles brilliant. Just a few problems finding my way in the dark at times - this is too dark in places and spoils the game. I did use walkthroughs and cheats from the internet as I have a life and it still took me hours and hours over weeks. Looking forward to Doom 4.
Excellent, MORE DOOM, 2009-11-16 Loved Doom 3 and now i can keep on playing with ROE. Some new great weapons, and monsters will entertain you for hours.
decent but disappointing, 2008-01-04 Great graphics just like Doom 3 but I completed the game in a couple of days and wasn't really trying hard. Not as atmospheric as Doom 3 which in parts scared the hell out me! The only real drawback with games like this is the the AI doesn't ever change - you know exactly when the next monster is coming to get you once you have been through a scene a few times. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a more random introduction of bad guys in order to keep you guessing?
