I purchased this card after my old WUSB54GR was stood on by my younger brother. I thought that this would give me a worse signal strength as its inside the PC, but I was wrong. My speed has not decreased in any way after the switch.

This is an excellent Wireless card and is pretty cheap.

I bought two of these; one for my partner's pc and one for my own, when I bought a Linksys WAG354G. It's easy to install and set up and I've had no problems. The only issue I found was that my girlfriends PC couldn't pick up the router initially. This was due to the aerial not being tightened sufficiently into the adaptor, so it's worth remembering to check this when you install it.

I am now very pleased with this product It is installed on an XP desktop machine and is linking to a BT broadband router attached to another XP desktop. It seems to connect with a good signal and maintains the connection well with a good speed of internet browsability. My only gripe is with the install instructions which I followed to the letter and then had terrible trouble. I had a message such as "connected but cannot find internet". In the end I had to uninstall the Linksys software, reboot and wait for windows to find the new hardware, it then prompted me to supply the driver which I did via the CD and from then everything was fine. The moral is : Ignore the instructions to install the software before the hardware and let windows manage the connection not the Linksys monitoring software. I hope this helps someone overcome the frustration I suffered.
