I only cooked twice in slower cooker, it takes ages to cook :), but I can say that food taste so much better. You can actually taste all the goodness. The only problem I had is that I left it once for whole night, and food was bit burned. I didn't put enough water, and all water steamed out. So now I know to put bit more water so it doesn't burn.

Little update:
I have cooked stew, pork and beef. I have to say that beef was amazing, so tender. Another reason to buy!
Bad start to a good product, 2007-12-09
Got this item as a Christmas gift for my sister. Great price at 50% discount, looks good and a great name, only let down was outer box damaged, checked product inside and it was fine, very good protection over product.
Overall I would have no problem ordering this for any one else and would advise as a gift.
Fabulous kitchen item, 2007-12-27
I have used a slow cooker for 20 or more years, & have always found them very useful. Ordered the Delonghi when my last one passed away while attempting to cook a chicken, I decided on this one because of the good reputation of the manufacturer and the unbelievable price for a huge 5 litre.
It is big enough to cook a whole joint with vegetables or enough soup for several days, Lamb shanks are fabulous just cooked in stock. Because the element goes all round the pot you can even turn up to high & take the lid off to thicken the sauce, all round 1st class.
