This book changed my life, 2010-03-16 This book seriously changed my life. I have had an avid love of psychology and personal development books/courses for about 2 decades but they mostly tell different parts of the same story. This book is different. It is the WHOLE story. In my opinion, this book has provided me with a life reference guide or 'bible' if you want to call it that. Yes some of the reviews state that this book is cheesy and in many respects it is, but why not use your higher self to look beyond that stuff and just enjoy a really good story that is packed with old wisdom? It provides the reader with practical, 'how to' guidelines for living your best life. The rest is up to you......
With an open mind, this book will change your life, 2009-03-17 THis book has the wow factor. WOW, it is so simple to take hold of your life and be happy in yourself. Whether Robin Sharma has collected wisdom from many sources is not the point of this book, it is that he has written a powerful and practical account of how to change your life now. I will be gifting this book to family and friends. It also introduces the reader to many great philosophers to continue the learning.
American Cheese, 2009-09-04 Receipe: Take one part good ideas about self development (meditation-sport-patientce-ethics), mix them with two parts unbeleivable new age popular psychology (the-more-yo-give-the-more-you-get) and two parts pulp fiction (bronzed tan surfer, priest in Rome dancing with roses, designer dressed hot chick corporate director), connect them with white treads. Voila! If you are in the 10-14 years old range you may like it, it teaches you good things and it certainly is a nice thing to read after your cartoon and glass of milk at 21.00.
The best yet, 2009-04-30 The picture of the author on the front cover of this book ,truly says it all. This man lives his stories. He exudes warmth compassion and a love of mankind. And so it is with this book. The story gently leads the reader through lessons of wisdom that everyone would do well to learn. Sadly we don't all have friends such as a Saintly monk, a surfer and the CEO. But again a book filled with wisdom's to live by, encapsulated in a most engaging story. I could not put the book down till I got to the end. Well worth the money and in my opinion , his best book yet.
best thing ive read in a long time - very highly recommended, 2009-05-10 i can't give this book and its author enough credit - it is so well written and very engaging. the amazing thing about this book is that it is so simply written yet it will change your life - if you allow it. thankyou robin sharma - i'm very greatful and will be reading all your other publications.
