Books Do Not Come Any More Funny Than This One!, 2008-02-21 After the totally hilarious "A Cat Called Birmingham", I couldn't wait to read this book. I was hoping it would be as good and I'm pleased to say it's even more funny! I didn't think it would be possible to top the first book, never mind better it.
Chris Pascoe has an easy-going writing style and I found the book difficult to put down. It's a laugh a minute and I can't recommend buying it enough!
Hopefully there'll be another book soon!
You Can Take The Cat Out Of Slough..., 2007-12-17 ...is the funniest book I have read. There are lots of good reports and they are very true. Read it if you love laughing until you can not take it any more. It really is that funny. Not just for cat people as it is funny in all ways. I love it!! : )
This even tops the first!, 2007-07-16 Ive just reviewed A Cat Called Birmingham by Chris Pascoe. I said 'I didn't think I could laugh that much. No other author has done that to me. The stories are very funny, and I think its the way he tells those stories that does it. The humour stays with you too. You find yourself suddenly bursting out laughing a week later at work!'
All I can say that this second book tops that! Where has this guy been hiding? We need books like this, they make life a laugh.
A find!, 2007-12-17 Isn't it great when you find a new author that can make you laugh? There are so few around that can do that in a way that makes your eyes water. From the kung-fu fighting midwife to accidental knife fights with his own cat, the author tells it so well. I have found a new favourite.
More, please!!, 2008-03-26 Both this and 'A Cat Called Birmingham' are hysterically funny - please let Chris Pascoe have another in the pipeline
