This book is great for about the first two chapters and then gets unbelievable complex for all but the best language learners. For most people travelling for buisness/tourism this seems almost completely useless as you are certain to give up after not long! Other books particularly those written in Poland give a much more sound basis for learning the beautiful Polish language

Recent business travel to Russia, Japan, Greece and Poland has seen me buy quite a lot of this type of CD. I can say without a moment's hesitation that this is the worst I have encountered. The rinky tink music that breaks all (short) sections is enough to ensure that you will want to throw the course in the bin. Worse than that, it doesn't repeat words in the way that every other training guide does, to help you learn by repetition. It also tries to teach you obscure things (how to buy an amber brooch) near the beginning and before you have covered more important things such as Hello and Goodbye.
