Comment: The book covers far more than your usual range of herbs - it also discusses wild plants with medicinal/culinary uses. The book has very clear and comprehensive photographs, although for some plants skimps on the cultivation details. In one instance, I noticed the error where it states that it's predominately Elder *leaves* that are used, but in reality it is the *berries*. A somewhat disturbing error, given the leaves are toxic.

I wouldn't buy this if I wanted a book on traditional culinary herbs, there's plenty of those around. I'd consider this book if I wanted something about wild food, but then 'Wild Food' by the same author is much nicer and includes recipes..!
