Every human adopted by a cat should read this!, 1999-04-09 This book is the translation (from 'cat' language into English) of a manual written for kittens to help them to succesfully adopt a human, and the human's home. The first lesson that a human will learn from this book is that we don't own cats, they own us! So you really should not refer to your cat, because you belong to the cat.The manual provides the human with an insight into the seemingly crazy things that cats do, which really are quite sensible if you are a cat! For instance, when you have several pieces of paper spread out on the floor, and you are concentrating on one piece that is not the piece closest to you, why does 'your' cat sit on that piece? Well, the manual teaches the cat to become the centre of your attention, and this is one way to do that. This is one of the best books I've ever read, and I keep reading it again as 'my' cats grow older and do even weirder things, which are easily explained in this book!
