Comment: We purchased this book to use as a reference book for our iLife 04 in Education online course at www.dvtraining.org.uk We were not disappointed in any way with the book. It goes into as much detail as you need to make the most of this wonderful software and further, which was a revelation to someone like me who has been using this software every day since it came out. The lessons are clear with good quality source materials, screen shots and lesson examples. Of course it is slanted to the US market in the examples it gives and all these are in NTSC format as opposed to the European PAL format. This is not an obstacle unless you want to use the projects in conjunction with a DV Camera or a TV. The book goes beyond just telling you hoe to use the software as it also has sections on creating better photographs, video and music so really it is much more than simply a software book it is a proper training manual.
