Comment: This book gives a fair idea about how to build EJBs. It explains how the architecture works, what are all the steps to be taken in order to have a working EJB, and it also provides a couple of examples. On the other hand, it doesn't comment on how normal JavaBeans would fit in this architecture and focuses too much on accessing databases from EJBs.

Overall, I think it is worth reading.
